Carpet Poles and Carpet Rams:

• Occasionally referred to as a Fork Mounted Rug Ram, transports long, odd shaped rolls of carpet using a standard-length Carpet Pole. These easy-to-use Carpet Poles simply attach, like most Forklift Accessories do, to the mast of the Fork truck. The most standard length for a Carpet Pole is 144”L. One important consideration when using these is the carpet roll must not hang over the end of the pole. The roll must make full contact with the pole.

Fork Extensions:

• These are one of the handiest Forklift Accessories on the market. Extend the length of your forks by simply slipping each extension over each fork. Most can be put on by hand. A recent innovation in fork extensions is the advent of the high strength steel extension… these extensions are up to 50% lighter than standard extensions while maintaining the same load ratings. One important consideration though… for safety, OSHA requires that the Fork Extensions must not extend by more that 50% of the overall fork length.

Steel Forks:

• ITA Hook-Type Forklift Forks are the Industry Standard. Often referred to as Forklift Blades or Forklift Tines. The majority of light duty Forklifts are ITA Class II, III, or IV. This type of Fork hangs on your carriage using opposing “hooks” that engage the upper and lower fork bars on standard ITA Carriages. The come in a range of lengths as well as capacities.

• Forklift lights and alarms prevent injury and provide safety signals to those working in an industrial factory or facility. Warning lights and signal alarms alert pedestrians and other facility vehicles of the presence of the machine to which it’s attached.
