WE SELL QUALITY… we live in a day and age of online retailers advertising cheap, import scales which are unrepairable. These scales are considered “throw-away”… since they are unrepairable (few parts exist) and very difficult (if not impossible) to calibrate, these devices are to be discarded as soon as they fail. Warranties on these scales are comical as you would have to send the scale back internationally to get the issue looked at.

WE DO NOT SELL THESE TYPES OF SCALES! All of the scales we sell have full warranties (parts and service) and can be serviced and repaired locally!

Floor Scale

OUR SPECIALTY… We sell them and rent them! The standard industrial Floor scale is a staple in any warehouse or industrial facility. By far the most common style is the standard 48″ x 48″ Floor Scale with a 5,000 lbs. capacity. These scales can be set-up and calibrated to either 5,000 lbs. by 1.0 lbs. increments (we call that 1 part in 5,000) or 10,000 lbs. by 2.0 lbs. increments. Floor Scales can be furnished with or without an access ramp and are also available with an optional level-off platform, installed between the scale and the access ramp to allow for a level-off area for pallet jack use. Floor Scales come in a range of different sizes and capacities.

There are a wide range if Digital Instruments/Indicators available from the most basic (zero, tare, net/gross and print) to the more complex. We also carry a range of printers (tape, ticket and thermal) as well as remote displays. Floor Scales can also be constructed of stainless steel or galvanized for outdoor use.

Counting Scale

Another staple in any warehouse environment is the Industrial Counting Scale. While complex in their design and programming, Counting Scales are relatively simple to use and are created to quickly, efficiently and most importantly, accurately count parts. Perfect for small parts packaging operations. They are also ideal for taking inventory of small parts. We also rent Counting Scales for seasonal inventories. Like the Floor Scale Indicators above, they are available in a very basic operation all the way to the very complex.

CRANE SCALE

Crane Scales are a specialized weighing device used in industrial applications where the item to be weighed is “hanging or suspended” from a crane or other lifting device. They allow for the accurate weighing of large, heavy items lifted in the air. These unique scales are especially useful when accurate weighing is required of extremely large or oddly shaped items that are suspended in the air. Short and long-term rentals available as well.

Carne Scales are primarily used in manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, construction, and mining to accurately weigh large cargo, materials, and equipment.

We also offer Marine Crane Scales built of cast aluminum designed for the harsh, outdoor environments of the Marine Industry.

ANALYTICAL AND MOISTURE BALANCE (MOISTURE ANALYZER)

The opposite of the Floor Scale, Analytical and Moisture Balances are weighing devices designed to measure very small units of weight with extreme and high precision.

Analytical balances are highly sensitive devices and can measure mass with a readability of up to 0.00001 grams (0.01 mg). They are designed with draft shields to protect them from air currents and dust that could affect the precision of their measurements.

Moisture Balances (occasionally referred to as a Moisture Analyzer) is a weighing device that determines the percentage of water in a substance by measuring the weight loss due to drying. Moisture Balances measure the moisture content of a sample by precisely weighing it before and after drying, with the difference in weight representing the amount of moisture that evaporated.

Periodic Inspection Programs (PI)

Inquire about our unique Periodic Inspection (PI) program, which helps keep your scale equipment functioning properly and running efficiently. The “PI” program is designed to diagnose problems prior to equipment failure which significantly decreases future repair costs. Added benefits of our “PI” programs are preferential hourly service rates and reduced travel charges.

Most, if not all of our Industrial Scale sare NTEP Certified and approved for legal-for-trade applications. What this means is you can legally buy and sell off of a NTEP Certified Scale as well as have the NTEP scale certified by a local weights and measures official. Remember, the scale comes with an NTEP Certification number, make sure you take note of it!

All of our test weights are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards as well as all state and local regulating agencies. Additionally, all of our test weights have been fully certified by the State of Ohio Department of Weights and Measures (certificates provided upon request).
