Steel Stacking Racks-2 & 4 Way, Stackable with Casters, New and Used. Columbus, Ohio

STACKING RACKS: Available in many different styles, Stack Racks are an adaptable, economical but most importantly, efficient alternative to Pallet Rack. The Stack Racks are specifically designed to move and store odd shaped or hard to store items. These unique storage racks allow for pallet storage or can be used as a pallet itself. Side and end entry allows for convenient storage of those unique products. The base allows 4-way forklift access for portability even when loaded and can come in open or wood board decks. Stacking racks have various capacities and are generally constructed of tubular steel. Tubular posts allow stacking of up to (6) units high. When stacked, storage racks eliminate load-on-load contact that causes product-crushing damage found on standard pallet racks. Stackable storage racks have 4-1/2″ under clearance. Easy modular assembly; posts snap into sockets on base, no tools required.

Two Key components of Stack Rack… stackable bases and removable arms.

  • Basic Capacities… 2,000 lbs. and 4,000 lbs.
  • Standard Base Designs: 6 different base designs
  • Common Base Sizes: 48” x 48”, 48” x 60” and 60” x 60” (the 60” x 60” make great tires racks!).
  • Standard Options: Stacking Racks can be ordered with optional fork stirrups, fork tunnels, wire mesh, steel or ½” CDX decking.
  • Common Applications: Textiles, carpet, tire storage, roll goods, wire coils and automotive parts (perfect for auto and truck fenders!)
  • These are just the most common sizes, any size, configuration or capacity can be custom ordered.

We also carry Pallet Stacking Frames… a four-leg steel frame that bolts directly onto each corner of the skid to provide product stability. Thes units can stack 4-5 high and include surprisingly heavy capacities.

One nice aspect of the Stacking Rack is they completely break down and disassemble with ease when not in use. This is particularly advantageous for seasonal type businesses who experience increases and decreases in demand but do not have space to store the racks when not in use. The Racks are also a nice option when renting warehouse space when concrete anchoring of Pallet Rack is not an option.

We carry a wide range of new and used options from quality U.S. Manufacturers like Dyna-Rack, Tier Rack and Steel King.
